The Aurora Inn Hotel and Event Center

We were looking for an affordable hotel in the area while visiting family. This hotel is one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in! The staff was top notch! They were so friendly and very accommodating. Anything you need, all you have to do is ask. And the indoor hotel pool was fantastic! They have an area out back you can go to relax with tables and chairs and also a firepit with an area to sit and enjoy! We stayed on the lower level, because they do not have an elevator to go to the 2nd floor and I thought it would be easier for my parents. I would recommend this hotel 100%!!

Location. The rooms were cozy, clean( provided nice fluffy robes and toiletries. The staff was wonderful and helpful. We received a 10.00 gift certificate for the gift shop which was a nice bonus for booking. There is a pool( usable but under renovations). There was a bar which we did not get a chance to experience they were only open Tues 4pm to 9pm thru sat and we were there sun to Tues morning. We would without doubt stay at the Aurora again. There is alot of history displayed in the hallways and lobby which the lobby had a nice very comfy sitting area to gather and chat. The elderly cleaning lady( cannot recall her name) who seemed to be there from morning until late in the evening was such a sweet and friendly plus very helpful person, my husband and I totally adored her!!!

We had an excellent stay at The Aurora Inn. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to provide small touches that made our stay friendly; including dog bandanas, treats, and a water bowl in our room for our dogs. We also enjoyed the onsite restaurant. If we ever find ourselves in the area again we will certainly come back.

The property is located at the heart of historic downtown aurora. It is very well maintained and the staff is absolutely helpful and friendly. The rooms are a little tight but very well decorated, clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great pool area and a nice back porch. On the first floor, there is a bar that serves great food. I would recommend to check it out if you like historical places!

I was recently in the area and looking for a place to stay. This was only about 10 minutes away and was priced decent.. According to booking I had an upgrade to deluxe room.
